Break The System Vol. 2 - 4th May 2019
May 4th 2019 was the second edition of our unique 1v1 breaking competition, the concept of which is described below.
In the second edition, we focused on improving the experience of our competition for our clients, ensuring hospitality and customer satisfaction was at the forefront of the event. This included improvements to the Woosh Judging System (Version 4.0), a bigger cash prize, more goodies for competitors and spectators, and battle footage being captured for the event.

Break The System - April 29th 2018
April 28th 2018, I ran a 1 vs 1 breaking competition at HUBS with my breaking society committee, 1 local breakers from the Sheffield community and 1 international student breaker from Cyprus, who studies at University of Sheffield.
Break The System is a one of a kind 1 v 1 breaking competition with a unique twist. The event follows the traditional 1 v 1 competition format, with 3 judges, but the unique twist is that the 3rd traditional judge at the event is the competitors. When 2 competitors are battling, the remaining 14 or 6 (top 16 competitors or top 8 competitors respectively) will also vote and each of their votes will make up a small fraction of the final judge's result. For example, if there are 8 competitors and 2 are competition, there will be 2 official judges (each makes up 1 point each) and the remaining 6 competitors as the final 3rd judge (each of the competitor's votes makes up 1/6 of the final judge's vote). The competitor with the most overall points will win.
This unique twist was made possible with the Woosh Judging System I created for the event.  This was the second iteration of the judging system, the first used at an event in Manchester on December 18th, 2017.

Teaching Experience
Sheffield Hallam University Breaking Teacher Sept 2016 - July 2018
Late 2016, upon moving back to Sheffield for my placement year, I started the Sheffield Hallam Breakdance Society, where  I provided beginner breaking lessons for students and the local community.
For the first year (2016/2017) I taught once a week, where in the second year (2017/2018) I taught twice a week. My students regularly compete across the nation and some have competed internationally in events such as "Outbreak Europe", an international breaking festival and competition.
I have a deep love for teaching and love to see my students grow and develop. I work very closely with my students, ensuring that they obtain as much value from my lessons as they can, so that they can become the best version of themselves!

I was lucky enough to be part of a national advertising campaign for Deliveroo in 2017. This advertising campaign was a small documentary of my time working at Deliveroo while being a competitive b-boy; I worked at Deliveroo as a part-time courier from January 2017 - December 2018.

This campaign was run nationally across the United Kingdom on the major social media platforms, Instagram, Youtube, Facebook and Snapchat:
